Signing by ZE PAK SA of a long-term agreement

for the sale of heat for Konin city

On September 6, 2019, in the presence of Konin authorities, councilors, the management board of ZE PAK SA and MPEC-Konin Sp. z o.o. an agreement was signed for the sale of heat from Konin power plant for Konin city. The contract has been concluded for a definite period and is valid until June 30, 2032.

Signing of this contract is one of the elements of the "Agreement for a just energy transformation of Eastern Wielkopolska".

It should be emphasized that, in addition to the existing biomass unit at Konin 50 MW power plant fired exclusively with biomass, the Company is preparing for operation another such unit with similar parameters. After commissioning the block at Konin power plant, which is the oldest power plant in ZE PAK SA Group, only ecological fuels will be burned. This means that Konin will be an ecologically heated city.

The agreement is a continuation of existing cooperation in the field of heat supply for the city of Konin.
