On November 6, 2019, in Zespół Elektrowni Pątnów – Adamów – Konin SA, a meeting was held between the Mayor of Konin and the management representatives of ZE PAK SA and Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego Konin SA.

The objective of the meeting was to discuss and prepare a joint action plan related to the economic transformation taking place in the Konin region. Setting up of a working group was established, which will be composed of the representatives of the City Hall and District Authority Office in Konin as well as representatives of the Power Plant and Lignite Mine. The working group will launch actions from January 2020.

The group's task will be to develop the safest and best solutions related to the implementation of the already initiated economic transformation process in the Konin region, which will last for the next few years.
