Actions related to minimizing the effects of the epidemic
Already at the beginning of March, this year, at ZE PAK SA, the Management Board of the Company launched an entire series of activities aimed at avoiding unnecessary events caused by the epidemic and minimizing its effects. On March 9, this year, an Order of the President of the Management Board of Zespół Elektrownia Pątnów Adamów Konin SA was published on the introduction of procedures to minimize the risk of coronavirus infection. The order became the basis for other documents published in the Capital Group companies. A special Team for minimizing health hazards and minimizing the risk of coronavirus infection was established at ZE PAK SA, a number of organizational changes were introduced, at entrance gates, and at the entrances to all buildings, containers with special preparation for washing hands placed. At the request of his superiors, the President of the Management Board gave permission for many people to work based on the “home office” system (remote work).
In mid-March this year all employees were familiarized with the Communication of the Chief Sanitary Inspector in connection with the potential risk of coronavirus infection.
Considering the epidemiological threat, the order of the President of the Management Board of ZE PAK SA recommends:
- Care for hygiene through frequent hand washing;
- Disinfecting places of frequent and direct contact, in particular door handles, handrails, etc
- Equipping places, where at least 2 people work, with basic disinfectants (e.g. for disinfecting desks/front panels at the control room);
- Preparing and publishing information for employees of ZE PAK SA on the application of basic hygiene principles and procedures in the event of suspected coronavirus infection;
- Minimizing iternal meetings and with representatives of external entities, in which a large group of people is expected to participate;
- Organizing meetings using means that enable remote communication, i.e. teleconferencing, videoconferencing;
- Limiting the contacts between employees to the minimum necessary, in order to minimize the risk of spreading the virus;
- Minimizing business trips within the country and suspending foreign business trips to countries where the Ministry of Health and the National Labour Inspectorate advise against travelling;
- Providing the employer with information about planned private travels abroad.
