Dun & Bradstreet Poland Sp. z o. o. (a leading provider of business information necessary for decision making regarding credit risk management, sales and marketing), in cooperation with partners (Getin Bank), awarded a Transparent Company Certificate to ZE PAK SA.

The award confirms the company’s solid record of fulfilling duties regarding the publication of financial statements as well as its financial honesty and reliability.

The annual awards of the 12th edition of the White Tiger of the Polish Power Industry competition were presented at the ENERGOTYKON 2008 conference, on 28 November 2008.

One of the awards in the power company category went to ZE PAK SA “for the Pątnów II 474 MW power generating unit, the most modern inPoland, meeting the most stringent environmental standards of the European Union”.

The monthly Polish Market and theInstitute ofEconomics of the PolishAcademy of Sciences presented ZE PAK SA with a certificate confirming a top position in their rankings of Polish enterprises and awarded it with thePearl of the Polish Economy distinction in the Large Pearl category. The distinction was awarded in recognition of the company’s systematic pursuit of its policy and strategy and its leading position among Poland’s most dynamic and most efficient enterprises.

ZE PAK SA won the  Energy World Leaders competition in the Producer of the Year 2005 category. The competition was organized by the monthly magazine Świat Energii (which translates as ‘Energy World’) for the third time. The award was received by Mr Józef Słomczyński, ZE PAK SA Vice-President for Sales and Distribution at an award ceremony held on 28 June2005 inWarsaw.

November 2005 saw the publication of the eighth TELEINFO 100 report, presenting the status of computerization of the Polish economy broken down into nine sectors, one of them being the energy sector, in which ZE PAK SA was ranked No. 1.

According to TELEINFO 100, our company is the leader of computerization in the power generation sector.

The Pantheon of Polish Ecology award has become one of the most prestigious distinctions awarded to the most environmentally friendly enterprises. The objective of the award is to create an environmental lobby group. The award is a token of recognition for Polish enterprises that have implemented ISO 14001 compliant environmental management systems and undertake exceptional efforts aimed to protect the environment.

The Polish Quality Award is the most important and the most prestigious award presented by the Polish Chamber of Commerce, the Polish Centre for Testing and Certification, and the Polish ISO 9000 Forum.

On 11 November 2003, the ninth Polish Quality Awards ceremony was held at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. ZE PAK SA won the award in the category of producers with a workforce of over 250. Thus, ZE PAK SA was recognized as one of the best organizations by experts, the jurors, and Polish Quality Award Committee members. ZE PAK SA was awarded the distinction for the implementation of the Management Excellence Model of the Polish Quality Award and the Total Quality Management approach and for significant improvement in the satisfaction of customers, employees and other people associated with our company. Significant improvement in the quality of work, processes, environmental protection and occupational health and safety achieved in recent years was rated very highly. Credit for the success primarily goes to the company’s staff, who constantly upgrade their qualifications, improve their skills and attach great importance to ongoing enhancement of the company’s organization management system.
