Education
Katarzyna Sobierajska is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and Polish-Dutch postgraduate studies in the field of European integration carried out by the University of Warsaw and the University of Maastricht.
Summary of professional experience
Katarzyna Sobierajska gained professional experience in state administration by participating in the process of Poland's accession to the European Union and managing large promotional projects. In the years 1995-2000 she was the Director of the Tourism Promotion Department at the Office of Physical Culture and Tourism. Then, from 2000, she worked at the Polish Tourist Organization as the Director of the Promotion Department, where she was responsible for the promotion of Poland on foreign markets. In 2008-2014, she was the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.
From April 2015, she was the president of the management board of Elektrownia Pątnów II Sp. z o.o. (a subsidiary of ZE PAK) until December 30, 2020, i.e. until the merger of Elektrownia Pątnów II with ZE PAK SA. At the turn of 2016/2017, she also sat on the management boards of ZE PAK SA, PAK KWB Adamów SA and PAK KWB Konin SA.
In the ZE PAK SA Capital Group, Katarzyna Sobierajska holds the positions of:
- Vice-President of ZE PAK S.A. Management Board
- Member of Aquakon sp. z o.o Supervisory Board – in liquidation
