Aleksander Grad
Aleksander Grad has over fifteen years of experience in public administration and government service. He has held numerous public positions, including Mayor and Councilor of the first term of the Pleśna Municipality, Member of the Polish Parliament (Sejm) from 2001 to 2012, Governor of Tarnów Voivodeship from 1997 to 1998, Deputy Minister of Health from 1999 to 2000, and Minister of the State Treasury from 2007 to 2011.
As Minister of the State Treasury, he was responsible for implementing major privatization projects, including one of the largest public offerings on the Polish capital market, involving leading companies such as PZU SA, PGE SA, GPW SA, and Tauron SA.
From 1988 to 1998, Mr. Grad managed his own business activity. Between 2012 and 2025, he held several senior executive positions in the energy sector, including President of the Management Board of PGE Energia Jądrowa, Vice President of the Management Board of Tauron Polska Energia, and President of the Management Board of ZE PAK SA. He has also served on the supervisory boards of companies such as Towarowa Giełda Energii SA (Polish Power Exchange), Tauron Polska Energia SA, as well as entities within the ZE PAK and Tauron Groups.
He currently runs an advisory practice, serves on supervisory boards in the private sector, and acts as a social adviser to the Industrial Development Agency (ARP SA).
Aleksander Grad is a graduate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków.
