PAK Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego Adamów Spółka Akcyjna with its registered seat in Turek is a multi-pit mine which may boast several decades of history. The company's primary operation is brown coal mining and its largest recipient is ”Adamów” Power Plant. The Company's operations include the mining of brown coal and accompanying resources. Brown coal is mined by opencast method after the overburden has been removed using the so-called E-B-D system (Excavator - Belt Conveyor - Dumping Conveyor).
Currently brown coal is mined from two pits: "Adamów" and "Koźmin". The company conducts its mining operations with respect for the environment and in compliance with the most stringent Polish and EU regulations.
The Company offers brown coal, clay, sand and erratic boulders. In addition, it renders other services in terms of transport, machine and vehicle lease as well as hotel and gastronomy services.
